EVENT INFORMATION
Seminar Lead Instructor: Eric Tribe Sensei
Eric Tribe Sensei is Kyoshi Nanadan in Jodo, as well as Iaido. He began practicing Iaido and Jodo with Kim Taylor Sensei and Goyo Ohmi Sensei in the late 1980's, while attending the University of Guelph. Trbie Sensei now lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and is the Chief Instructor of the Rai Un Kai - Iaido and Jodo Dojo, and is the Canadian Kendo Federation Chief Examiner for Jodo.
Tribe Sensei enjoys international travel, attending technical seminars on Iaido and Jodo, and teaching at seminars to help the next generation of budo-ka refine and augment their skills.

Required Techniques for Each Rank

1st Kyu: Individual kihon 1-4 (Honte Uchi to Kaeshi Tsuki), 7 (Kuritsuke) and 10 (Tsukihazushiuchi), Kata: 1-3 (jo and tachi)

1-Dan: Kata 2-6

2-Dan: Kata 3-7
-
3-Dan: Kata 5-9
