EVENT INFORMATION
What is Jodo? Jodo is the way of the staff and consists of Jo techniques against opponents armed with a sword. The goal of Jodo is to respond to being attacked by keeping your opponent in check, with the idea of "You can chastise and discipline someone, without injuring them."
Jodo practice consists of solo Kihon, paired Kihon, and Kata, as demonstrated in the video. Jodo is complimentary to Iaido and Kendo practitioners and has been a part of the All Japan Kendo Federation since 1968.
